| Thanks for visiting! Anthony Inciong is a Specialist Professor who teaches motion graphics, graphic design, typography, and computer graphics. Before joining the Department of Art & Design at Monmouth University, he taught typography and computer graphics concurrently at William Paterson and Montclair State Universities. Anthony holds an MGD from North Carolina State University College of Design and a BFA from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. He has worked professionally for a number of graphic design offices and studios in New York City, most notably The Late Show with David Letterman where he won an Emmy for graphic arts, and Design/Writing/Research where he was involved with the design and production of the studio’s landmark book. His essays on graphic design education, graphic design history, style, and technology have been published in Émigré, inForm, and divcon.org. These pages demonstrate his particular process of designing which is articulated through his and the work of his students. design/ed = succinctly illustrates the three phases that he believes will lead to resonant, captivating, and meaningful graphic design. |
